Curtis White

Curtis White, age 88, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Louis White and Ada Davis White; sister, Mary Stoddard; brothers, Clarence White and Aaron White. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Betty Jo Creel White; daughter, Jan Stone (Joel); sons, Mike White (Paula), Joe White (Cathy) and Jimmy White; sisters, Eva Smith and Bernice Powell; brothers, Roy White and Howard White; grandchildren, Josh Stone (Julie), Shandi White, Cameron White (Shea), Jamie Stone (Corey), Erin Mathews (James), Katie McLaughlin (Grant), Rachael Arledge (Daniel), Stephanie Mann (Eric), Michael White (Ashley) and Adam White;18 great-grandchildren . A funeral mass will take place on January 13, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Leeds. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 at the church. Burial will be at Forest Crest Cemetery. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and started as a framing carpenter and built his company into a successful home building business in the Birmingham area.
