Charlie was born in Alabama to Ted and Linda Brown on December 23, 1972. His family moved to Lawtey, FL when he was a year old. He grew up there and graduated from Bradford County High School in 1990. He made the decision to serve his country and left for the Marine Corps at 18. He served from 1990 to 1995 and is a Gulf War Veteran.
Eventually his family moved back to Alabama and he has lived in Odenville ever since. In 2007 he met his wife of 10 years Carey Brown. They became a blended family of six. Charlie was a jack of all trades but he didn’t find his passion until he worked HVAC. He loved his job and found pride in helping people in that way. He worked as a salesman and technician for Perfect Service Heating and Air, Inc. Charlie spent a lot of his years coaching softball and baseball for the Odenville Youth Athletic Association as he loved giving back to the community and his love for sports. Charlie and his family were members of North Valley Church in Margaret and he loved his church family deeply. Charlie was known by everyone for his love for Alabama football. His two favorite words being Roll Tide! He also was a huge dog lover and cherished his babies Bama, Zoey, Mac, Lucy, Bama Girl, and Macie.
He is preceded in death by his father, Teddy Wayne Brown, Sr.
He is survived by wife, Carey Christine Brown; children, Gabrielle Clements and Jacob Brown; step-children, Colby Quick and Jersi Quick; brother, Teddy Wayne Brown Jr.; mother, Linda Clements, and step-father Jim Clements; numerous other family members, including his in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces, a host of friends, coworkers, and classmates.
Charlie will be greatly missed along with his bright smile and outgoing personality. He will always be loved and be in our hearts until we see him again.
