Charles Bernard Abel

Mr. Abel graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School in 1951. He attended UAB Mechanical Engineering (1957-1959). He was a member at Glennwood Baptist Church in Morris, Alabama from 1954 until 1961 to which he joined Valley View Baptist Church and is still a current member. He was a member of the Leeds Civitan Club for 30 years. Owned Leeds Plumbing for over 60 years.

He is survived by his sons, Charles Glenn Abel (Donna) and Richard Gregory Abel (April); sister, Eloise (Abel) Foster (Charles); grandchildren, Anita Marie Abel, Jeremy Glenn Abel, Cassie Abel Burnett, Allyson Claire Abel, Benjamin Abel, Tiffiany Abel Ward, and Meagan Renea Abel; great grandchildren, James Henry Cates, John Wyatt Ward, Karalyn Grace Abel, and Carson Morgan.

Visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:00Am with funeral services to follow at 11:00AM

Graveside services will be held at Glennwood Church Cemetery in Morris, AL.
