Billy G Abel, age 66, of Trussville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Billy is survived by his wife of 47 years Barbara Abel; daughters, Shannon (Laura) Bellew and Katanna Abel; son, Shawn (Amber Lewis) Abel; grandchildren, Skyleigh and Stephen; sister, Debbie Layman. Billy was employed with Averitt Express for over 18 years and was a avid Alabama fan. Billy enjoyed racing and driving his 1970 Nova. A visitation will be held on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 1:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a service to follow at 2:00PM.
