Betty Grace Underwood

Underwood, Betty Grace Holloway, age 81 of Leeds, Alabama, passed away on November 18, 2020. She was born on October 26, 1939 in Odenville, Alabama to William Andrew and Nellie Stephens Holloway. She retired from United Way Community Food Bank and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William Andrew and Nellie Stephens Holloway, her six siblings and her granddaughter, Emily Grace Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Frank Underwood, Jr., and her three daughters, Darla Owens (Mike), Diane Gentry (Ron), and Cheryl Underwood (Lori), eight grandchildren, Brian Owens (Jessica), Bret Owens (Jordan), Ashley Payne (Mike), Lauren Gentry, Bradley Williams, Josh Williams, Jarod Gentry, Brett Gentry (Regina), nine great grandchildren, and many other loving family members. Services will be Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with visitation from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer, Alabama. Services directed by Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama.
