Sue this is late but I did not know about Ray until Judy (Pruitt) Whatley mentioned it in our phone conversation last night. I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. I can remember him playing that piano even in grammer school. I always loved to hear him play. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

There was so much excitement in the air when all the residents knew Ray was coming. You were such a special couple together and you such a support to Ray. Love you both,

Ray was always quick with a genuine smile and sincerely cared for others, especially his sweet family, his beautiful music at our 50th wedding anniversary was a memory we will carry forever, his voice could soothe your soul, we will see you in heaven friend.... When I think of Ray I see his smile. He was always smiling and playing that piano in a way that only he could. He was such an amazingly important part of my life growing up. I am so saddened knowing he is gone from his earthly but the Good Lord and all of our loved ones in heaven will enjoying hearing him play the piano in heaven.

You will be truly missed. I know you are in no more pain and running the streets of gold. Dont forget we are not far behind. Save us a seat in the choir.

My heart is heavy and sad at the loss of my cousin Ray who was one of my playmates when we were children.  We had good times playing together.
