Anthony “Tony” John Oddo passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the age of 94. Mr. Oddo passed away peacefully with many family members by his side. He was a United States Veteran having served during World War II, something he was very proud of.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Oddo, his parents Anthony John Oddo and Francis Lucia Oddo and his brothers Louis Oddo, Jack Oddo and Joseph “Joe” Oddo.
Mr. Oddo is survived by his two daughters Yolanda (David) Chasteen and Toni (Mike) McClinton and his son Jerry (Lynn) Guzzetta, five grandchildren Yvette Boteler, Donald Boteler, Shane (Katie) Boteler, Alayna (Cole) McCarty, Michael McClinton and eight great children.
Pall Bearers will consist of his grandson’s Donald Boteler, Shane Boteler, Michael McClinton, his nephew Allan Keath and his son-in-laws David Chasteen and Mike McClinton
Services will be held Thursday, February 4th, 2021 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 1750 Ashville Road, Leeds, Alabama. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with services following at 11:00 AM.
He will be laid to rest with graveside services at Elmwood Cemetery, 600 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35211with full Military Honors.
