Born in Gull Lake, SK, Robert and his five siblings grew up on the family farm. In 1937 they moved to Manitoba, where Robert met Barbara Varga who became his wife in 1961. In 1967 their son Michael was born.
Robert will be greatly missed and remembered by his wife Barbara, son Michael and grandsons Jacob and Jordan. He is also survived by his brothers Howard and William; nieces, nephews and many friends. Robert was predeceased by his parents William and Mary Bush, his sisters and their spouses, Martha ( Howard) Ellis, Laura ( George) Leedham and Denise (Bert) McNabb, nieces Lana Hudyma, Shannon Brak and nephews Lawrence Novak, Robert Leedham, Gary and Dalton McNabb, William Baird and Stanley Walker.
A Celebration of Robert's life will be held at the Devon Alliance Church (Highway 60 and Miquelon Avenue) on Saturday November 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
