Monica (Cassidy) Thompson died peacefully on the feast day of our Lady of Fatima, Saturday May 13, 2023 at the age of 105 years. Monica is the last surviving child of Jim and Emily Cassidy.
She is survived by 6 children, 24 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Roy, her son Richard and granddaughter Nicki
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Michael’s Parish, 5105 - 45a street in Leduc. She will then be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Albert.
