Frances Gwozdz

December 10, 1929 – January 28, 2015

It is with sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Frances Gwozdz, after a brief hospital stay.

Frances will be remembered by, her loving son, Gerry Gwozdz, sister Victoria Babiak (Eugene); brother in-laws and sister-in laws; Diana Gwozdz, Ted (Betty) Gwozdz, Everett Broadbent, Josie Sprado, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Frances was predeceased by her husband, Edward Gwozdz (January 1997) her father, Michael Kobeluck, mother Catherine, and brother Laurence (Patricia).

Viewing will take place on Friday February 6, 2015 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Hainstock & Son Funeral Chapel, 4802 – 48 Avenue, Leduc.

Funeral Mass will follow on Saturday February 7, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 4909 – 51, Thorsby, Alberta at 11:00 a.m. with Father James Banu Bodula, SAC officiating. Interment will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Francis. Following the interment, please join the family at Strawberry Hall for lunch and a time of celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Stollery Children’s Hospital, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
