Brian will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Ruth, of 54 years; his daughter, Dayna (Mike); granddaughter Ella and grandson Walker; his son, Cory (Fiona); grandson Noah; as well as countless extended family and friends who felt like family.
Brian was predeceased by his parents Edward and Jessie, and his brother, Lorne.
Brian was known for his larger than life presence, positive attitude and permanent smile. He lived a very full life, enjoying everything from the smallest joys, to largest travels. Every day was an adventure. He loved road trips, traveling to new places and his true happy place, the lake. Brian loved being surrounded by people, whether it was pulling up for cocktail hour at the lake in the ranger, cheering on his grandkids at a sporting event, or late night deep discussions around the campfire. He definitely left an impression wherever he went.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Leduc Community Hospital for their kind treatment and empathy.
As per Brian’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in the Best Western Denham Inn, 5207 50th Ave, Leduc, Alberta.
