Beverly Mae Young

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Beverly Mae Young, age 86. Bev passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of Monday, March 4th. Bev was born on March 27th, 1937 in Stettler, AB. Bev grew up in a large family of 14 brothers and sisters. She was her high school valedictorian and went on to marry the love of her life, John Young. Bev worked at the Bank of Montreal until her retirement. Bev and John went on numerous trips for hockey and baseball and camping adventures with family and friends.

Bev was one of a kind; the most generous, loving, and compassionate mother/grandmother. She continuously cared for everyone around her. Bev will be fondly remembered for her witty humor and storytelling and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Bev was predeceased by her husband, John, after 67 years of marriage. She is survived by her children Robert (Susan), Bruce, Sheila, and Brian, sister Sharlene (Mel), and brothers Keith and Doug, grandchildren Corey, Keri (Mike), Cassandra, Ashley, Laura (Matt), John (Taylor), great-grandchildren Kayla (Michael), Deegan, Kiara, Brody, Madeleine, and Max, and great-great-grandchildren Elias, Aubryn, and Bohdi.
