William E. Billingham Sr., 94 ,of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, November 9th, 2010 in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon of heart failure. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Samuel E. and Sarah Ann Billingham. He was the husband of the late Lucille E. Daub Billingham who passed away September 8th, 2002. Mr. Billingham was employed as a steel worker for Bethlehem Steel in Lebanon making Nuts and Bolts, later to become a Foreman before retiring at the age of 62. During WWII he made gun barrels at that plant. He was an avid fisherman which was his life. Woodworking was his hobby, he made furniture, 5 boats, hobby horses, many other items and all of his own fishing lures. He also made toys for charity auctions in Lebanon. He was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ in Lebanon. Surviving are his daughters: Sarahann, wife of Carl F. Snyder of Georgetown, DE. and Josie M. Kriner of Manheim, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, a brother: Edward Billingham of Lebanon, and several Nephews. William is preceded in death by his, son: William E. Billingham Jr., brothers: Krause and John Billingham, sisters: Josephine Harmes, Mary Shuey and Jenny Blouch. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:30P.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc., 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042, Officiating will be Rev. Mary Ellen Beckman of Good Shepard United Methodist Church. A viewing will be held from 12:30P.M. until the time of the service in the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
