Richard C. Mease

Richard C. Mease, 78, Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday August 16, 2017 in his residence. He was the loving husband of Mary M. Bensing Mease with whom he would have celebrated a 55th wedding anniversary in October. He was born in Lebanon on June 15, 1939 a son of the late Elmer and Mildred Clark Mease. He was retired from Bayer Corporation. He was a member of Hebron U.M. Church and he enjoyed camping; going to the beach and spending time at his pool and with his family. In addition to his wife he is survived by children: Cheryl J. wife of Lynnwood G. Gibson, Lebanon; Todd M. and wife Diane E. Mease, Lebanon; grandchildren: Alison wife of Jeremy Long, Jonestown; Samantha wife of Christopher Wolfe, Lebanon; Julie Gibson, Lebanon; great-grandchildren: Aurora, Jason and Wyatt Long; brothers: Robert and Donald Mease as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother: Charles Mease and sisters: Emma Mason, Julia Shepler, Mabel Mease and Millie Sutton. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in Hebron U.M. Church, 451 E. Walnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be made in the Hamlin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to his church or to Wellspan Hospice, 1503 Quentin Rd., Lebanon, PA 17042 or to Wellspan Sechler Cancer Center, 844 Tuck St., Lebanon, PA 17042. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
