Richard Allen Mease Jr.

Richard “Dick” Allen Mease Jr., 65, of Lebanon, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was born on October 6, 1951 in Lebanon, a son of the late Richard A. Mease Sr. and Gloria F. Queck Mease. Dick was the loving husband of Lisa Martel Mease. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School Class of 1969. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. Dick was retired from Commercial plumbing. He was a member of the Plumbers Bowling League; St. Gertrude’s Club; Maennerchor Club; Friendship Fire Company; lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #23 and American Legion in Lebanon. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, home projects with his wife, and was a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Rebecca L. Lytle and fiancé Thomas Ernharth of FL; Angela M, wife of Matthew Zoeller, Hummelstown; Kyle J. Martel of Myerstown; granddaughter: Avery M. Zoeller; brothers: James, George and Steve Mease; several nieces and nephews. Dick was predeceased by a brother: Robert Mease and sister: Elizabeth Pinegar. There will be a memorial service held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:00AM with a visitation from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with Full Military Honors following the funeral service at 11:30AM. There will be a visitation held in the funeral home on Sunday March 19, 2017 from 2:00PM - 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center Hospice Unit, 1700 S. Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA, 17042.
