Rebecca was an avid reader with a love for the mysteries, especially Sherlock Holmes, Poirot and Charlie Chan. She was an unabashed diet cherry coke addict and a proud Air Force Veteran. She spent her working years as a nurse’s aide, working at many local facilities and retiring from Cedar Haven after 20 years. She brought joy to all who knew her.
She was preceded by her parents, Irma and Belman Luciotti; sister, Cathy Brown and brother, Ron Luciotti; niece, Melina Diaz; and sister-in-law, Kelly Luciotti.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas J. Gaydos; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and James Lymaster; a brother, Mario Luciotti; sister and brother-in-law, Gianna and Ed Bleyer; nieces, Jennifer, Amanda, Kaitlyn and Lauren; a nephew, Andrew; and many great nieces and nephews.
Our family would also like to thank the nurses and doctors of the Good Samaritan Hospital 3 South for their care and compassion while Rebecca was a patient there. You made a difference. She will be loved and missed forever. She was a tough old broad.
Per her family’s wishes, a private Celebration of Life will occur at a later date.
