Randall Lee Yates, 58, of Cleona, passed away in his home on Monday, May 4, 2020. He was born in Ripley, WV on August 13, 1961, a son of Frances Lawson Yates of Ravenswood, WV and the late Joe Yates. He was employed in security department at the VA, also worked at the Library of Congress in Washington DC and served in the US Army. Surviving in addition to his mother are brothers, Jerry Yates and wife Kathryn and Larry Yates both of TN; his commom-in-law wife, Mary F. Shimer and her children, Autumn, James and Valerie Shimer and her grandchildren, Camryn, Gavin, Cyrus, Jaden and Sadie Mae.
