Naomi Orpha Lawrence, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Celebration Villa of Lebanon, surrounded by her family. She was born February 12, 1932, to the late Miles and Anna (Hauck) Evans.
She attended Newmanstown United Christian Church, where she served as an organist, pianist and assisted with landscaping. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Mike) Balsbaugh and Todd (Dawn) Lawrence; grandchildren, Matthew Balsbaugh, Morgan (Ben) Landis, Meredith (Jon) Bryan, Brandon (Misty) Lawrence, Austin (Emily) Lawrence, and Colton Lawrence; great grandchildren, Patton and Christian Landis, Georgia and Genevieve Bryan, and Cael, Leif and Gemma Lawrence; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, David L. Lawrence; her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Monroe Keller; and a granddaughter, Lindsee Lawrence.
Naomi loved crafting, working outdoors, and making opera fudge, but her true joy was family, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, whom she loved and supported in all endeavors. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and those who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be held at Clauser Funeral Home, 116 N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, PA from 10:00 to 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, with a private interment to follow.
