Mary Phyllis Kohr, 80, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Kohr who died in 2008. They were married on July 2, 1961. She was born in S. Lebanon Township on September 10, 1940, a daughter of the late Mary Ellen (Henny) Weaver Bryson. She was employed for many years at Bogene’s Factory and retired from the Lebanon VA Medical Center working in the Dietary Department. She graduated from South Lebanon High School in 1958. Phyllis was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in West Lebanon where she was assistant organist, sang in the choir and served on several committees. She enjoyed music, sewing and would bake dozens of cookies at Christmas time. Phyllis is survived by son, Scott D. Kohr and wife Lynn of Westminster, MD; daughter, Shawn R. Kinney and husband Steven C. of Lebanon; grandchildren, Heather Kinney, Patrick Kinney, Julia Kohr and Caroline Kohr; and her beloved companion, Toby (her dog). She was preceded in death by a brother, R. Lamar Weaver. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon.
