Karl F. (Pap) Klinger, 88, of Myerstown, passed away at Town Center in Myerstown on Monday, February 14, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Mrs. Betty Klinger (Swope). Karl was born in Gerardville, PA on March 3, 1933 to the late Earl and Grace Klinger. Karl served in the Army during the Korean War conflict. He worked for Grace Mines in Morgantown, Millards Quarry in Annville, and Ebenezer Elementary School. Karl was a member of Faith Baptist Church serving as an usher. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are stepsons, Donald Johnson (Nicole) and Ronald Johnson, step daughter-in-law Jill Johnson; grandchildren Jason, Kyle, Cody, Josh, Jordan, Leah, and Sydney; great grandchildren Madyson, Kennedy, Wesley and Carson; children Debbie, Danny, and Dennis. Karl is predeceased by daughter SueEllen Klinger, stepsons Ricky Johnson and Jerry Johnson.
Visitation will be held at Rohland’s Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, PA on Saturday, February 26th from 12 to 12:30 pm with service to immediately follow visitation.
