Jennie S. Koons, 67, Lebanon, died Wednesday August 10, 2011 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Paul J. Koons, Sr. She was born in Lebanon County on October 10, 1943 a daughter of the late Wayne and Florence Rhoads Anspach. She is survived by children: Pauline S. Earhart, TN; Sarah L. Koons, Annville; Rose Marie wife of Joseph Sattazahn, Ono; Paul J., Jr. and wife Mary Koons, Lebanon; Richard R. Koons and domestic partner: Marlin Paskanik, Shamokin; Robert R. Koons, Cressona; Jacob P. Koons, Riverton, IL; Joanna wife of Thomas Laubscher: Frost, TX; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers: Robert Anspach and wife Bonnie, Jonestown; Henry Anspach and wife Rhonda, SC; Harvey Anspach and wife Kathy, TN; sisters: Mary Dipper, Annville; Verna wife of Larry Kling, Annville; Nancy Wilhelm, Annville; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by children: Betty Lou Koons and John Henry Koons; grandson: Benjamin A. Koons; brother: Wayne Anspach; sisters: Lena Firestone and Bertha Anspach. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 A.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Viewing will be on Friday beginning at 10:00 A.M. to the time of service in the funeral home.
