Jason "J.P." Lloyd McConnell

Jason L. “ J.P. “ McConnell, 40, of Richland, passed away in the Good Samaritan Hospital on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015. He was born January 3rd, 1975 in Bryn Mawr, PA., the son of Kenneth W. and Diane Freeborn McConnell of Youngstown, OH. Jason was the loving husband to his wife of 17 years, Sarah R. Ritchie McConnell. J.P. was the pizza maker for Pete’s Pizza. His passion was to make the best pizza. He loved the beach and the mountains, fishing and hunting were his hobbies. He also was very passionate about the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his children to whom he was a loving father, Tyler E. and Rachael E. McConnell; sisters and brother: Lesa, wife of Rob Rhodes, Dwight, ILL; Jason E, husband of Ann McConnell, Fort Bragg, NC; Dawn R, wife of Jeff Moyer, Middletown; Jaime, wife of Jesse Lehman, Richland; maternal grandfather: James Freeborn of Hazleton; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA., 17042 on Friday, August 28th, 2015 at 10:00AM with a visitation from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
