Helene D Hess

Helene D. Hess, 94, formerly of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday March 27, 2018 in the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Lewis Hess. Helene was born in Philadelphia on December 31, 1923 a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Diamond Grosky. She had worked at Shaffer’s Clothing Store for many years. She was a member of the Congregation Beth Israel and Hadassah. She also was a member of MADD. Helene is survived by sons: Randy S. Hess and wife Marge, Gary A. Hess and wife Arlene, Eric D. Hess and his partner Christine, Marc A. Hess and wife Annette; grandchildren: Maxwell Hess, Joseph Hess, Colton Hess, Kasey Hess, Wyatt Hess; brother: Bernard Grosky. She was preceded in death by a grandson: Benjamin J. Hess and brother: Leon Grosky. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm. in the Beth Israel Cemetery 370 E. Maple St., Lebanon, PA 17046. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lebanon County Humane Society 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067. The Rohland Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
