Geraldine Jerry J. Whitman

Geraldine J. Whitman, 85 years old, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2013 at Harrisburg Community General Hospital. She was a 1946 graduate of Lebanon High School. Jerry was the wife of Donald L. Whitman for forty-five years prior to his death and would have celebrated their 67th anniversary this year. She was the daughter of the late Margaret N. Brandt. She was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lebanon and transferred her membership to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church when she moved to Manheim. Jerry took great pride in being the homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and mema. She enjoyed embroidery but most of all her family. Surviving are three daughters, Carol L. Blough, wife of Jeffrey Blough of Lewisberry, PA, Donna L. Bricker, wife of Thomas Bricker of Manheim, PA and Jeanie Hepler, wife of Ronald Hepler of Pine Grove, PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a sister, Madeline Weise of Lebanon, PA. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Whitman and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA on Monday, August 19th at 11:00 AM.
