George Alvin Beard, 65, of Lebanon died Saturday, November 25, 2013 in his residence. He was born in Lebanon on June 2, 1948, son Betty Miller Beard and the late Ralph Beard. He was formerly employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Foundry and Millards Quarry. In addition to his mother he is survived by two sons: Ronnie Boltz, Lebanon; Greg Beard, Lebanon; daughter: Melinda wife of Tom Daugherty, Lebanon; grandchildren: Alexis, Kirsten, Danny, Andrea, Amber, Corina, Casandra, Sean and Colin all of Lebanon; several sisters and brothers. Friends and family are invited to his memorial service on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM in St. John’s U.C.C., 931 Willow St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
