Francis L. Haulman, 80, Lebanon, passed away on Monday January 27, 2014 in Stone Ridge Towne Centre, Myerstown. He was born in Lebanon on February 20, 1933 a son of the late Frederick A., Sr. and Margaret E. Ditzler Haulman. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School class of 1951 and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had worked at the Bogene Company and retired from Lamont Ltd. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially at picnics and birthday parties. He was an accomplished craftsman who enjoyed woodworking and could fix anything. He enjoyed baking and was particularly good at baking wet-bottomed shoo-fly pies. He was a football fan who cheered for the Dallas Cowboys and he was a movie buff who seemed to know everything about movie trivia. He is survived by his children: Brenda L. wife of John Fulk, Lebanon; Francis L., Jr. and wife Tina Haulman, Lebanon; Sharon L. Brown, Palmyra; Vickie M. wife of Thomas Dangle, Lebanon; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother: Larry Haulman; sister: Sandy wife of Joseph Klein; several nieces and nephews as well as a long-time friend Lucy. He was preceded in death by brothers: Frederick, Jr., Gary and Nevin Haulman and sisters: Janice Baker and Tamera Marshall. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland ST., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a time of visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. “NO VIEWING” Interment will be made in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
