Donald Eugene Mann, 91 passed away peacefully at the Hershey Medical Center on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. He was born in Lebanon, January 2, 1931, to the late Walter & Amanda (Brubacher) Mann. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Susan Marie Mann Wolfgang.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Janet (Evans) Mann, daughter Laurie Mann Carpenter and husband Richard, of Stevens, PA; daughter Karen Mann, of Lebanon, PA, and sister Marilynn (Mann) Cashmore, of Colchester CT. He has two grandchildren, Jaclyn Sultzbach, wife of Bill Sultzbach, Lititz, PA and Rev. Jeremy Mann, husband of Jennifer Mann, of Bluffton, Ohio. He also has four great grandchildren, Wyatt and Waylon Sultzbach, and Kaleb and Lucy Mann.
Donald was employed at the Good Samaritan Hospital as a lab technician and was retired from the Lebanon City Water Department. He was an active member of Grace United Church of Christ where he served in several capacities. His hobbies included bowling, acting, and singing. He enjoyed summer vacations at the shore with his family.
A viewing will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Rohland’s Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. There will also be a time of visitation starting at 9:00 am, prior to the 10:00 am service being held at Grace United Church of Christ, 1000 S. Fifth Avenue, Lebanon on Tuesday June 14, 2022. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
