David G. Smith

David G. Smith, 69, of Lebanon, passed away at home on Tuesday, February, 21, 2017. He was born in Lebanon on October 5, 1947, a son of the late George and Marguerite Light Smith. Mr. Smith was retired from the Double H Boot Co. in Womelsdorf. He loved his fish pond, gardening, the flea market, working in his garage, his family and grandchildren. Surviving are his daughters: Kristi, wife of Darren Zombro Jr. and Stacey, wife Dennis Gernert Jr. all of Lebanon; grandchildren: Darren Zombro III; Toby Zombro; Kaylin Gernert and Kinsley Gernert; brothers: George and Wayne Smith both of Lebanon; sisters: Ann Brucker of Kansas and Joyce Pauley of Reading; several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his brothers: Harold, Henry Sr, Donald Smith and sisters: Hilda and Lucille Smith. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St, Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:00AM with a visitation from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Bucher’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to defray funeral costs may be made to Stacey Gernert, 14 Palmer St, Lebanon, PA, 17042.
