Betty L. Fisher, 89, passed away in Annville, PA, on Monday, December 19, 2022. Betty was the wife of the late Floyd L. Fisher, to whom she was married for 48 years. Formerly of Fredericksburg, Betty was born on October 9, 1933 to the late Jacob B. and Ada M. Grumbine. She was a graduate of Fredericksburg High School (Class of 1951) after which she attended secretarial school. For many years she was an avid bowler and was active with and served many organizations: Fredericksburg-Jonestown Business & Professional Women’s Club (president), Glenn Lebanon Fire Co. (member & aux president), Mount Zion Fire Co. (member), and Ebenezer Midget Football Committee (treasurer). She worked as a waitress at the Ono and College Hill Diners. After graduation, she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper at Publix Shirt Co., Manbeck & Kissinger Poultry and College Hill Poultry. She was also employed with the North Lebanon Township Office, Harpel’s and retired from D. B. Fisher Bus Co. Betty was a member of Kochenderfer UM Church. Betty is survived by children Bonnie Hoffman, Terry Fisher, Sherry Whary, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and nieces, grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Lydia M. Sholley. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Kochenderfer UM Church, 1105 Kochenderfer Rd., Lebanon, PA from 10 am—11 am, followed by the service at 11 am. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Fredericksburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kochenderfer UM Church. Rohlandfh.com
