Alice O Ratcliffe

Alice O. Ratcliffe, 93, of Lebanon died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Leonard Ratcliffe who passed away in 1990. She was born in Radford, VA on September 5, 1917, daughter of the late Pierce and Daisy East Buckner. She was a member of Sandhill Christian Union Church, Lebanon. Alice enjoyed gardening, playing games and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Perry Ratcliffe, Fredericksburg; Beatrice Bordner, Lebanon; Donald Ratcliffe, Lebanon; Linda wife of John Stegman Jr., Fredericksburg; 34 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; 34 great-great grandchildren; three sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her daughters Darlene Miller, Helen Walborn and her son Ronald Ratcliffe. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 AM in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon where a viewing will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Bethany Children’s Home, 1863 Bethany Rd., Womelsdorf, PA 19567.
