Our lives were bettered by your endless compassion and warm welcoming presence. Through thick and thin, you embraced and supported your family & friends selflessly and vibrantly.

Leading each moment with an unmatched creative, sassy wit meant there was never a dull minute when you were around. It was truly entertaining and made problem solving a cherished time together.

You honored us in many ways but it was hard to beat your baking skills. Lemon blueberry scones, cupcakes, cakes, and oh the delicious cookies. We all enjoyed the fruits of your labor for birthdays and holidays. It won’t be the same, but we will continue our best to honor you with these recipes.

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention your amazing connection not only with your humans, but with your fur babies too. Kindred spirits, you always found a way to befriend a four-legged friend, and the fact that Mr. Wiggles lived 17 years is a true testament to that.

Our resident plant whisperer. There wasn’t a plant you couldn’t grow or bring back to life in many cases. You had a knack for breathing life into those around you no matter what you were doing.

A close second to your love for your people and animals was your fierce love for musicians and the artful songs they weaved. We love the way you share your interest and love of music with all around you, and we will think of you fondly with each epic tune we hear.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Barbara Cornelius.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Mark Peeples, mother-in-law Betty Peeples, Aunt Virginia Whatley & Eddie Knox, sister and brother-in-law Coiece Pyle and Scott Pyle, sister Lisa Sramek, life-long friend Ann Austin, nieces and nephews, Colby Sramek & Ashley Camarillo, Danilyn Overton, Kara Peeples & Garrett Evins, Kristi Pyle, Aaron & Lindsay Pyle, Colleen & Jerad Schneider, Lorien Peeples, Gabriel Peeples, Duane Peeples, Phillip & Tasha Peeples, great nieces and nephews, Brandon Peeples, Tyler Peeples, Coye Pyle, Owen Pyle, Jolee Schneider, Jaycee Schneider, Michael Villarreal, Ryker Overton, Ace Camarillo-Sramek, Rex Camarillo-Sramek, Sly Camarillo-Sramek, Anton, Mark Makovey and Michelle Makovey.

Until we meet again, we will find comfort in our memories. Fly high Susan… we will miss you dearly! You were loved beyond measure.

A memorial service for Susan will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1200 S. Bagdad, Leander, TX 78641 with food and fellowship to follow.
