Pearl was born September 15, 1927 and raised in Hearne, Texas. After graduating high school, she moved to Houston, Texas where she attended Business College and took her first job at Houston City Hall. She met the love of her life, Jack Boynton in Houston. They married and had 4 children. They raised their children in Laporte, Texas. After the children all graduated from college, Pearl and Jack retired to Livingston, Texas, then Huntsville, Texas. After the passing of her beloved Husband, Pearl moved to Houston to be closer to her children, then moved again to be close to them to Austin.
Pearl stayed home with her children until they all started school, then started her career as a school Librarian at Deer Park High School.
Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Jack Boynton, her parents, Mary and Tony Pizalate and her brother, Lee (Buddy) Pizalate.
Pearl is survived by her four children and spouses: Mary Beth Kernan and husband Toby of Lago Vista, Texas; Dr Gerry Boynton and wife Gail of Corpus Christi, Texas; Jacklyn Stone and husband Paul of Martinez, Georgia; Lesa Gary and husband Wayne of Jonestown, Texas. She has 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Pearl was devoted to her Lord and was an active member of Saint Mary, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lago Vista, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 6100 Lohman Ford Road, Lago Vista, Texas, Thursday, May 2, at 11:30 A.M. preceded by a Rosary at 10:30 A.M. There will be a lunch reception following the mass in the parish activity center provided by the Women’s Guild of Saint Mary parish. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M on Friday, May 3rd, at Grandview Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Highway in Pasadena, Texas.
