I met Mike at a Final Four in the late 90s and quickly learned that we shared a passion for college basketball. Over the years, we attended close to 20 Final Fours together. I always enjoyed seeing him and his infectious smile. He was a kind, considerate and supportive friend and I will miss him. Rest in Peace my friend.

Old school ways. How much he liked sports, how much he adored his wife, every other sentence was about Aylisa, he was so proud to be her husband you could see it everytime he spoke about her,I will miss his  great smile, Good morning, and how he was always a team player.

Mike had the biggest heart of any man I’ve ever known. I will never forget how excited he was when I asked him to be the officiant at my wedding. Mike prepared all year and put in so much hard work for my special day. The words Mike spoke that day and the way he delivered each and every word with so much care and love had me crying happy tears the whole time! Everyone was so touched by his words and couldn’t stop talking about what an amazing job he did. This is my favorite memory with Mike and one I will hold close to my heart forever. I feel so blessed to have been in Mike’s life. ❤️
