Jennifer Margaret Parsons

Jennifer Margaret Parsons, age 75, of Liberty Hill, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2023. Jennifer was born on October 31st, 1947 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Tenito Crouch Jones and Clarence Jones Sr.

Jennifer was a long-time resident of Liberty Hill. She was an avid gardener and cultivated a large vegetable garden along with many irises, tulips, and roses. She was a collector of antique oil lamps, salt & pepper shakers, and depression glass. Jennifer loved to make jewelry, purses, and cross stitch embroidery. Jennifer was an involved volunteer with Operation Liberty Hill, which provides community support for those in need, and she formed many strong friendships there over the years.

Prior to retiring in Liberty Hill, Jennifer was a nurse anesthetist providing care in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Okinawa, Japan during her career. After moving to Portland, Oregon, she founded her own home healthcare company to serve seniors with healthcare needs. Jennifer attended and completed nursing school at Western Kentucky University & anesthesia school at the University of Cincinnati.

Jennifer was predeceased by her husband Patrick Lee Parsons, her mother Tenito Crouch Jones, and her father, Clarence Noel Jones Sr. Jennifer is survived by her son Jeffrey Wright and his wife, Kelly Breslin Wright, daughter Tabitha Wright Hollibaugh, and her former husband Andy Wright. She is also survived by her grandchildren MaryKate Wright Silk, Jacob Wright, Ryan Wright, Kanin Hollibaugh, and Eleanora Gleghorn. Jennifer loved her family dearly and will be remembered as a caring and loving Grandmother.

Jennifer Parsons will be laid to rest alongside her mother in Bowling Green, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, Jennifer’s family requests a donation in her memory to Operation Liberty Hill (www.operationlh.org) or the North Carolina State University Military and Veteran Services (https://veterans.ncsu.edu).
