Donna had lived in Lago Vista since 2000, with her love of 35 years, Dewey Nunley. Donna was a retired teacher; she completed her undergraduate degree from SMU and later attained a Masters Degree in Education from University of Texas in 1997. She was active in several women's clubs and organizations. While teaching she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Donna enjoyed playing Bunko, watching movies, dining out and spa days. She had a love for painting, reading good books, shopping, and always wearing her signature pink lipstick.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Chapman.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dewey Nunley; sister, Karen Brazier; brother-in-law, Bill Chapman; step-children, Meredith Todd, Brent Nunley and Amy Bates; grandchildren, Madeline Todd, Brody Todd, Jackson Bates and Madison Bates; two children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many special friends.
A Memorial Celebration of Life for Donna will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S Bagdad Road Leander, Texas 78641.
