Danielle Denise Ellis, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, teacher, and friend, passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 40. She was born and raised in the Dallas, TX area where she gained her passion for dance, reading, and science leading her to attend Texas Tech University Health Science Center graduating with a Masters of Science in Molecular Pathology. Through this she gained great knowledge in science to then focus on sharing her wisdom to the younger generation becoming an adjunct Biology Professor at St Edward's University and starting a business for tutoring in life sciences and educational events.
Danielle lived life to the fullest as she loved spending time and traveling with her family, fellowshiping with friends and neighbors, and surrounding herself with books to read, host local book clubs and a blog. She also supported her childrens’ school district by volunteering on several committees all while still devoting time to study the bible and grow closer to God.
Danielle may be gone but she will never be forgotten as she made a lasting imprint on the lives of her family and friends through love, laughter, and memorable moments.
She is survived by her husband, Daryl Ray Ellis II, her two children, Micah Charles Ellis and Mikayla Nicole Ellis, and her parents, Paula Denise Parks and Lee Henry Dinkins.
Danielle's life will be honored during a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Leander Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad Rd., Leander, TX 78641. Danielle will be laid to rest following the service at Bagdad Cemetery, 400 N Bagdad Rd, Leander, TX 78641. The Repass will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Leander Funeral Home.
