Clara Annette Vargas

Clara Annette Vargas, 59, of Leander,Tx passed away surrounded by loved ones in Cedar Park on July 6th 2023. Annette was born in Lexington, Mississippi on June 27th 1964 to Mary Esther and Grady Ernest Downs.

Annette married Everardo Vargas Jr. and together they had Kevin Vargas. Annette was a LVN and was employed by Accenture. She was highly valued, respected and loved by all. Annette truly lived life through simple pleasure. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, online shopping and watching her Longhorns. Her grandkids were her whole world and she cherished every moment with them.

Annette is survived by her husband of 32 years, Everardo Vargas Jr., son Kevin Everardo Vargas and his wife Kimberly, her grandkids Kasen and Kallen Vargas. Her Brother William E. Downs and his wife Nancy. Her sister Lynette Perez and children John, Janet, and JoLynn. Her Uncle J.B McBride and his wife Brabra. Annette held a special place within all our hearts leaving behind her brother in-laws, Sister in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly Annette was predeceased by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. W. Bailey McBride, her mom Mary Esther and dad Grady Ernest Downs.

A visitation for Clara will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1200 S. Bagdad, Leander, TX 78641. A memorial funeral mass will be held following the visitation at 12:00 PM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1101 W. New Hope Dr., Cedar Park, TX 78613.
