Survivors include her sons, Ed Powell (Peggy), Virgil Powell (Cindy), Roger Powell (Debbie), Albert Powell; daughter, Linda Fife (Pat); brothers, Robert Stone (Janese), Neal Stone (Pam); twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Powell, Jr.; father and mother, Ruth and Jeff Stone; sons, Johnnie Ray Powell, Lonnie Jefferson Powell; sisters, Esther, Bessie, and Trena.
Visitation will be held at Gum Springs Baptist Church on February 4th, 2019 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Brother Chad Clanton officiating.
Interment will be in Gum Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made to the Alzheimers Dementia Research Foundation and/or the Gum Springs Cemetery Fund.
