Joey Tyrone Simpson

Joey Tyrone Simpson, age 52 of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. He was a talented musician who loved to sing and play the guitar as well as fish and tell jokes and make people laugh. He was a dedicated father who loved his kids dearly.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Howard and Odesa Wallace; Virginia Simpson; Uncle, Charles Wallace; Devoted Friend, Sherry Gable.

He is survived by his Father, Joey E. Simpson (Maxine); Mother, Shirley Wallace Dennis (Walter); Son, Devin Simpson (Dearea); Daughters, Ashley Simpson, Odessa Brianna Armstead (Reggie); Brothers, Christopher Simpson, Marquez Pope; Step-Sister, Amatrice Houges; Devoted Uncles, Tony and James Wallace; Grandchildren, Keylee, Kameron, Gavin, Oakland, Paisley, Carsyn, Kyree, Alaysia, Laklyn.

Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the Funeral to follow at 12:00 p.m.

Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery.

The family would like to request that all attendees to the services please wear a mask and try to maintain social distancing guidelines.
