Gene W Allen

Gene W. Allen, age 82, of Waynesboro, TN passed away on April 27th, 2018. Throughout his life he loved the Lord and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time farming and traveled many years to Canada to hunt and fish and spend time with family and friends. Mr. Allen was a retired Funeral Director and served as a Captain in the Army National Guard. He was co-owner in the Waynesboro and Collinwood Middle Tennessee Funeral Home and Memory Gardens. He also retired from owning his own Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN. He served many communities as a mortician, ambulance service provider and a friend to many.

He is survived by his Daughters, Tina Landers, Waynesboro, TN, Sheila Wilson (Greg), Georgetown, TN; Grandchildren, Kristin Landers, Tyler Wilson, Sara Wilson; Great Grandchild, Madison Landers; Sister, Marzee Skelton, Chapmansboro, TN; Nephew, Darryl Skelton; Nieces, Susan Robinson, Janice Jones, Marsha Kinsey.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Eugene and Eleanor Allen; Infant Daughter, Sherry Jean Allen; Son, Gene Wilson Allen Jr.; Grandchild, Jonathan Lee Landers

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30th, 2018 at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at the Pettus-Turnbo Chapel at 11:00.

He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Highland Methodist Cemetery at county line, Highway 64 west.
