Evelyn Jean Cliburn

Evelyn Jean Cliburn, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg. She was born on July 21st, 1932 in Macon County, TN to the late Billie G. Meador and Mary Magaline Simmons Meador. She was a member of Heaven’s Gateway Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Billie and Maggie Meador; Daughter, Rebecca Jean Wright; Grandson, Christopher Alan Cliburn; Great Granddaughter, Cameron Lee Wright.

She is survived by her loving Husband of 75 years, Elder Henry Norman Cliburn Sr.; Sons, Henry Norman Cliburn, Jr. and James Nelson Cliburn; Daughter Vickie Joyce Violet (Ricky); Brother, Dariel B. Meador (Betty Sue): 10 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Nephew, Marty Meador (Clarissa); Son-in-law, Billy Wright.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Brother Marty Meador will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
