Visitation will be held Saturday April 1, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m. at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday April 2, 2017 in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Charlie Kincaid officiating. Burial will be at Mars Hill Methodist Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Floyd; parents, Frank Cox and Nora Cox, and sister, Faye Sharp.
Survivors include her sons, Larry Manuel Byrd (Judy), Glenn Melvin Byrd (Renee), Randall Floyd Byrd (Rosie); daughter, Jan Marie Byrd Haddock (Michael); brothers, Bob Cox, Jeff Cox; sister, Judith Jan McFadden; eleven Grandchildren and thirteen Great-Grandchildren.
