Mr. Arthur L. Barnett, age 85 of St. Joseph, TN passed away on December 30, 2014 at Country Cottage Assisted Living. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Reynolds Alloy and member of the Mt. Nebo Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by two sons, Jackie Barnett of St. Joseph, TN, Jeffrey (Kim) Barnett of Murfreesboro, TN; one daughter, Debbie (Danny) Bryant of Loretto, TN; seven grandchildren, Adea, Kendall, Miranda, Holly, Mary Maegan, Austin and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Peyton; one sister, Jewell Pettus of Lawrenceburg, TN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dean Gladney Barnett, parents, Louie B. and Bessie Mae Cottrell Barnett; two brothers, James Doyle and Charles Glenn Barnett.
Funeral Service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel, Thursday, January 1, 2014 at 1 pm with Bro. Buddy Alverson officiating and interment in Mt. Nebo Cemetery in St. Joseph, TN.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, 6 ~ 9 pm.
