You are in our hearts,thoughts and prayers. Mr. Bourdeau was the Father of my bestfriend and her brother when we were in grade school. He always made it a fun time when I would stay with Michele or our Parents would work together at Church functions. Michele and Bobby Nor, Joe and Gail share your loss and pray for your Dad and all of his family.

Quando Lucia con e-mail ci ha comunicato la triste notizia non ci volevamo credere, infatti abbiamo chiamato subito Lucia al telefono per parlare a voce e sapere di più e, solo allora abbiamo realizzato che Bob veramente ci aveva lasciato.
Ma lui non è andato via dai nostri ricordi,anzi è rimasto nei nostri cuori perché era una persona speciale tanto cara ed affettuosa.
Quando veniva in Italia con Lucia passavamo delle belle giornate insieme a casa nostra e lui era tanto contento e  faceva i complimenti a Cornelia perché apprezzava la sua cucina.
A Natale ci aveva accennato Lucia che probabilmente quest'anno sarebbero venuti di nuovo a farci visita e invece il destino non ha voluto.
Ti pensiamo sempre e fatti tanto coraggio Lucia.

I never really spent very much time with Bob, but when I did, it was always with great joy. Bob was always extremely friendly and gracious to everyone around him. I never had the opportunity to really get to know him, but the fact that my father, his brother, speaks so highly of him, says it all. I believe he is in a better place now and my thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

There is only one Bob Bourdeau.  I have never met such a brilliant, sweet, witty man as Bob.  He and I were on the same page with humor.  We cracked each other up.  And Bob and Lucy are my idol couple.  The love story they lived.  If only all of us could be so lucky.  What a life they have.  Everywhere, every day ,  they went people were/are drawn to the both of them.  I don't think I know of anyone else who has as many close, special friends.  They generated love, compassion and friendship.  I have so many Bob stories.  So many fond memories.  Bob is in heaven right now cracking up everyone with his keen wit.  He's looking down on his Lucy.  I am just so blessed to have had the 'luck' to know such a great man.  Everytime I introduced him to, I would say...this is a famous NASA scientist.  He was such a humble man, stayed out of the lymelight.  Bob lives on in my heart and mind.  He's instilled a permanent smile on my face. I'm one of the Italian relatives of Bob. I remember his nice person when he came here with Lucy, many times in Naples too.
I'm near to Lucy in this sad moment.

We were sadened to find out this past January that Bob & Lucy would not be visiting Aruba with us as they had for many years. We and many others,  saluted them both with a toast and a prayer to the next year.Enjoyed talking about career experiences of this brilliant man. Now hearing of Bob's passing, we will celebrate him every year knowing he is smiling over us in his eternal life.  Enjoy the happy recollections of his life as we have. My deepest sympathy on the loss of Uncle Bob.  Even though it has been several years since I have seen him and Aunt Lucille, you have always remained in my thoughts.  Fortunately Uncle Paul has get me up to date on all that has gone on in your lives.  I have the fondest memories of visiting Uncle Bob and Aunt Lucille one summer when I was much younger with my parents and grandparents and I spent many hours swimming in the pool with Uncle Bob and my grandpa (his oldest brother Roland).  It was a great visit that I have never forgotten.

Aunt Lucille - my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of the family.  We have been saying extra prayers for Uncle Bob to help him get through this last setback but I guess that God had other plans.  He has taken him to a better place and I know that he is watching over all of you right now!

May God be with you during this most difficult time.

I am a resident of Aruba who got aquainted with Bob and Lucy several years ago during one of their annual visits to Aruba and we gradually became friends..He alwaymade it a point for the three of us to go out together at least twice during each of their visits. He loved Aruba and on his birthday two years ago, he expressed his wish  to visit Aruba at least until his 100th birthday .. I have a lot of fond memories of my encounters with Bob. He loved talking about his work and was very modest about all his accomplishments at NASA where he had worked. I feel privileged to have known a person like Bob Bordeau, I adored hiim, and so did everyone else who knew him. I am going to miss him...................

I am so saddened by the news of my Uncle Bob's passing.  I had the privilege of visiting him a number of times in the last several years and feel blessed to have had the opportunity.  He always managed to make me laugh and intrigued me with his tremendous knowledge and knack for telling REALLY good stories!  He was knocked down so many times in his life from being in a cast at the family reunion after being hit by a car to sporting black eyes from a fall, but always managed to come up smiling and kicking.  My thoughts were that he would meet the same feat again this go round.  He was so much fun to be around and will be sorely missed.  My heart goes out to my cousins, Michele and Bobby, and Bob's wife, Lucille, always such a gracious hostess during our visits.  My prayer for you is that God remains within you to carry you through this upcoming journey of loss and remembrance.  I am the youngest daughter of Bob's youngest brother, Paul, so I send my love to my father, too, who has had to survive the loss of all 6 brothers before him.  My God keep you strong in the wake of your recent loss and just remember the smiles and laughter Uncle Bob brought to all our faces.  I extend my love and prayers to all of you.  May Bob rest in peace after such an incredible fight.

I'm an italian friend of Bob and Lucy. I knew them after a trip to Italy they made several years ago. I'm honored for that opportunity. I'will never forget that couple of strong americans. May god bless all of you
