Zara Miriam Richman, 88, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was born on February 2, 1928 to Joseph and Clara Richter (nee Boonshaft) and was a Las Vegas resident for 32 years. Zara is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Paul. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Katz of Henderson, NV; two daughters, Adelle Tanner of Henderson and Carol (Gary) Jaco of Fallon, NV; two sons, Barry (Hillarie) Katz and Brian (Julia) Katz, both of New Orleans; seven grandchildren, Jocolyn, Craig, Sarah, Lindsey, Erin, Tarissa, and Mallory; and three great-grandchildren, Anjela, Ryder, and Emma. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at King David Memorial Cemetery. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to Congregation Ner Tamid. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
