Yvonne Lee Boland

An Honor Visitation for Ms. Yvonne Lee Boland of Las Vegas, NV will be held at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2022, at Palm Cheyenne Mortuary located at 7400 W. Cheyenne, Las Vegas, NV. Burial will be held at a later date in Atlanta, Texas.

Ms. Boland was born, January 30, 1947, in Cass County, Texas and passed away January 25, 2022, in Las Vegas, NV.

Yvonne graduated from Atlanta High School in Atlanta, TX in 1965 and earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. After graduation, she worked for the Charity Hospital System in New Orleans, LA for several years. She later moved to Las Vegas and worked in radio advertising. She retired as a Senior Account Executive from CBS Radio. Yvonne loved the outdoors and was very adventurous. She enjoyed hiking in the mountains, sky diving and fishing with family in Texas. She had a passion for all animals and did volunteer work at Shiloh Horse Rescue and the Nevada SPCA. She enjoyed watching football and the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints were in her heart!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Liston and Virginia Boland, her brother L.W. Boland, Jr. and her nephew Keith Boland.

Survivors include her sister-in-law Diane Boland, niece Jackie Plank and husband, Jim. Yvonne also leaves behind many cherished friends who have shared such good times over her 35 years in Las Vegas.
