Yupin Shackelford

Yupin Shackelford, Age 90, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. Yupin was born February 23, 1935, in Chachoengsao, Thailand, to Chom Sirarath, her father, and Pan Sirarath, her mother.

Yupin married David L. Shackelford on October 4, 1971, with a marriage of 53 years filled with memories of shared love and tenderness.

They traveled the world together sharing their joy with family and friends. They lived and laughed in Thailand; Clovis, New Mexico; Austin, Texas; Denver, Colorado; Panama City, Florida, and finally for the last 18 years, Las Vegas, Nevada. They traveled together to many countries - to the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the Netherlands, Germany, Singapore, and to Thailand many times.

Yupin will be deeply missed by her husband, David L. Shackelford; her daughter, Saipin Smith McFarland; her son, Siriporn Chunkaew; her son, Siripong Chunkaew, and her grand-children and great-grandchildren.

Yupin leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness and a passion for her garden and roses that are still blooming. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service for Yupin will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
