She was born to Father, Kiichi Togawa and Mother, Yaeko Togawa. She also had two sisters and one brother.
She graduated from high school in Tokyo and then traveled abroad performing as part of a group of young singers. She met her husband Bob in California where they started their lives together. She worked as a beautician before becoming a loving parent and housewife for 57 years. Yomiko was a life long Methodist who loved to sing, paint and watch movies.
She is survived by her family:

Yomiko’s ashes will be returned to rest in Hawaii.”
