Wing Chiu Lui was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Wing will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Way-Kong Lui. Wing grew up in China until 1983.
Wing was raised with three siblings. He had two brothers and one sister. Wing was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Wing worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Wing was blessed with four children, Kellen, Diane, Ying Lo and Ricky. Another blessing for Wing was the gift of ten grandchildren, Tracy, Kristy, Branden, Trevor, Timothy, Kellie, Jarett, Jason, Kathy and Frankie.
Wing was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was Cow.
When Wing’s retirement finally arrived in 1983, he was well prepared. His new life involved relocating to Honolulu, HI. Even in retirement, Wing continued to stay in touch with his old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Wing was active in his new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered him.
Wing passed away on February 23, 2013 at UMC Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lung disease. He is survived by all his children and grandchildren. Services were held at Palm Mortuary. Wing was laid to rest in China.
