William "Bill" Watson, 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at home surrounded by family. He was born February 4, 1937 in New York City. Attending The Ohio State University, he graduated in 1958 majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting and Advertising. He served in the Air Force Reserve for six years. Bill began his computer career in New York City with Pan American Airlines and traveled around the world with his mother during that time. In the early 1970's he moved to Las Vegas to assist in the opening of the MGM Grand Hotel. The next 20 years included helping the hotel through the devastating fire in 1980 and the reopening of the hotel. After his career in computing he transitioned in retirement to serve the community by driving a school bus for disabled children in the Clark County School District which he did until he was 78 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Miriam Watson. He is survived by his loving wife Paula of 25 years and their children Clara, Patrick and Jonathan Watson, and Randi Joelson, Leslie and Eric Watson from a previous marriage, and sister Elizabeth Laitin of Torrance, California, grandchildren Alexandra, Zachary, Molly, Noah and Ethan, and many nieces and nephews.
